“There’s no place like home.”
If you’re from Kansas, you know this quote from the famous movie The Wizard of Oz is more meaningful than others. Plus … it’s true! There really is no place like Kansas. One of the very best things about this state is all the many opportunities to enjoy nature we have here — especially on the east side of the state near Topeka.

Come for the day or stay for two weeks.

Looking to Buy a New Motorhome for Your Eastern Kansas Camping Trip?
There are numerous options to choose from when it comes to shopping for a new motorhome. What’s most important to know is what size you want to start with. There are three main size categories or “classes” of motorhomes:
Class A Motorhomes – These are the big guys. They come with the best amenities and typically sleep the most people (usually up to 8).
Class B Motorhomes – These are the small guys. They typically sleep 1 to 4 people and often look more like vans than motorhomes. These are the lowest-cost option but feature limited space.
Class C Motorhomes – This class of motorhomes is mid-sized or a smaller version of the class A motorhomes. They have above the cab sleeping quarters (that’s how you know they’re class C!), and you may hear them called campervans or conversion vans. These are smaller but still sleep up to 8 (in tight quarters) just as class A motorhomes do.
Are you headed out for a camping trip with your family near Topeka? Remember to make sure your motorhome or any other recreational vehicles you own are fully insured. Because motorhomes are so much larger than other vehicles, they can cause a lot of destruction. You might find yourself in a situation where you have unintentionally damaged others’ vehicle or property with your motorhome, or worse, hurt someone. In these cases, insurance is the only thing that can protect you.
